Alfonso Gambardella

Alfonso Gambardella is Professor of Corporate Management in the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi and co-director of the ION Management Science Lab at SDA Bocconi. He holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University. His research covers the economics and management of innovation and the technology strategies of firms, and more recently strategic decision-making under uncertainty: with colleagues, he has run randomised trials showing that entrepreneurs who take a scientific approach, building theories and testing them, make better decisions.
