Thomas Le Barbanchon

Thomas Le Barbanchon holds the Rodolfo Debenedetti Chair in Labor Economics at Bocconi and is Director of IGIER. He works on labour economics, public finance and econometrics, with a focus on job search and matching, gender, discrimination and social insurance. He is a fellow of CEPR and IZA, a board member of the Review of Economic Studies and an associate editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association. He holds an ERC Consolidator Grant (2025–2029) to study wage setting, both individually and in collective bargaining.
